Con los sencillos “I Don’t Need To Hide” y “Everybody’s Saying Thursday’s The Weekend”, el álbum es otro paso adelante para una banda en una trayectoria ascendente. Del single “Everybody’s Saying Thursday’s The Weekend”, el guitarrista Johnny Took dice: “Esta canción trata de dejar de lado las cosas que nos agobian y de mirar al futuro con un sentido de optimismo.” – una idea básica que recorre todo el álbum

Grabado parcialmente en el Reino Unido con Rich Costey (Sigur Ros, Muse, Foster the People) y Stuart Price (Dua Lipa, The Killers, Madonna) antes de ser terminado en su ciudad natal de Sydney con Konstantin Kersting (Mallrat, The Jungle Giants), “How Many Dreams?” es un álbum ambicioso con un paisaje sónicamente expansivo; hay canciones para delirar y canciones para llorar.
